Meet Dr. Rhyne

J. Michael Rhyne, D.M.D.

Dr. Rhyne is originally from Water Valley, MS, where he graduated high school as Valedictorian of his class.  He then earned his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences) at Ole Miss before being accepted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry.  While in dental school, Dr. Rhyne received awards for clinical excellence in Operative Dentistry, completed an externship in Periodontics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, was awarded the Delta Dental Leadership Award, and was elected to serve on the Ethics Committee by his peers.  Dr. Rhyne is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, and Spear Education Study Club.  

Dr. Rhyne and his wife, Andi, live in Houston and have two children, John Peyton and Sawyer Grace.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working outside, hunting, fishing, and camping.  Dr. Rhyne and his family are members of Parkway Baptist Church in Houston, where he serves as a Deacon, and is also involved with the youth. 

Dr. Rhyne knew at a very young age that his calling was in healthcare and remains thankful that God saw fit to bless him with the necessary skills it takes to perform dentistry at the highest level.  He is very passionate about serving others, and his desire is to ensure his patient’s needs and expectations are not only met but exceeded.  Dr. Rhyne is proud to serve Houston and humbled all the more to have patients travel as far as several hours away to allow our team at Rhyne Dental to take care of their dental needs.
